The Community Aquatic and Skate Park, nestled within a 12-acre live oak forest, is open year-round. The park houses an 8-lane, heated, 25-yard pool and diving area, a whale shaped zero-depth entry children's pool with slides and sprays, a bathhouse, and a 6,000 square foot modular skate park. (You must be 10 years of age to utilize the skate park.) Adjacent to the aquatic and skate park is a picnic area and playground, and a 1/4 mile nature trail.
This facility is collectively funded by the City of Rockport, Town of Fulton and Aransas County. It is managed by the City of Rockport.
On Saturday, October, individuals are invited to bring their dogs for a cool swim at the Community Aquatic& Skate Park’s zero-depth entry children’s pool, which features slides, sprays, and a maximum depth of 3 feet.
Small dogs will have access from 10 am - 11:30 am. Large dogs from 11:30 am - 1 pm. There is a $5 charge per dog/owner and a $1 spectator fee.
