Memorial Park Shelter
Great “woodsy” picnic site for group and family gatherings. Located
next to baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball court,
playgrounds, hike & bike trails, 2.6 acre pond, and restrooms and
drinking fountains.
This shelter is equipped with 10 six-foot picnic tables and a large
group-sized cooking grill. Electricity and lights are also available.
Zachary Taylor Park Gazebo
An old-fashioned Victorian-Style shelter in a “town-square garden”
setting with fountain. Perfect for a special, intimate occasion. A small
picnic area is adjacent to the gazebo. Electricity is available.
Compass Rose Labyrinth and Gazebo at Triange Park
This cozy, petite shelter, located in a small ornamental park of
“character palms”, offers a special view of Little Bay, the Connie Hagar
Wildlife Sanctuary, and Rockport Beach Park. This is a great gathering
spot in the spring when the park is a sea of bluebonnets to relax and
meditate.
The Rockport Beach Band Shell
A photo stop for Rockport visitors, this open-air amphitheater sits along
the shore of Little Bay. It provides the artistic backdrop and theater-style
viewing for a variety of events, including weddings, concerts, and outdoor
setting programs. Electricity is available at this site.
