Municipal Court Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Rockport Municipal Court is to provide a fair and effective process for the citizens who are charged with violations of state law and/or City Ordinances.

About the Court
Full payment is expected by your arraignment date; however, if there is a need for installment payments, arrangements will be made if you qualify. Keep in mind that additional fees may apply.

We accept money orders or cashier checks (no cash) at the window. Payments made by credit cards are made by telephone through www.officialpayments.com.

Call 1-800-272-9829 to contact Official Payments Corp. Please note, your jurisdiction code is 5314. There is a transaction fee added to this payment method. You will be given a confirmation number. Please call the court and give them this number.

Municipal Court is held on the first Thursday of each month at City Hall (622 E. Market Street), beginning at 9 a.m. Trial dates will be assigned by the Court Clerk(s) when your "not guilty" plea has been entered.

An appearance date will not be required if you come in on an earlier date. A telephone call will not substitute for your appearance.
